Employee attendance at the Department of Public Housing and Settlement Areas of Palembang City is an activity carried out every day by employees to calculate the amount of time attendance and number of employee permits and is useful for measuring the level of discipline and employee performance. The employee attendance system at the Department of Public Housing and Settlement Areas in Palembang City is carried out using Microsoft Excel then printed into hardcopy then employees are asked to write a signature as proof of attendance, but this method is still less effective and efficient, therefore to simplify the process of making reports an application is needed attendance for employees so that the data stored is safer and neatly organized or organized. The development of the system that was built was carried out using a prototype method and system design using DFD then using ERD to compile the database. The result of this research is that the application made can simplify the attendance process and recap the employee's attendance when it will affect the performance appraisal and employee salaries, then attendance records are more organized and accurate. The purpose of this study is to assist the Department of Public Housing and Settlement Areas of Palembang City in inputting attendance and storing attendance data.
