Analisa Residu Detergen pada Sampel Air Sungai di Provinsi Sumatera Selatan Secara MBAS menggunakan Spektrofotometri UV-Vis

The river is a contain for natural water supply and water containers to meet household needs, environmental sanitation, agriculture, industry and others, from this activity often causes pollution in rivers such as detergent waste pollution.  Detergent residue content analysis in river water samples aims to find out how much the level of river water pollution by detergents found in the province of South Sumatra by MBAS (Methylene Blue Anion Surfactant) using a UV-Visible Spectrophotometer with a wavelength of 652 µm. Samples were taken from different streams with 1 blank control. Detergent levels were measured using visible spectrophotometry using methylene blue reagent and extraction using chloroform, a type of experimental research. The results obtained showed that the highest anionic surfactant (detergent) content in river water samples was A5 and A6 in order after absorption of 0.2907 mg / L and 0,2387 mg/L then the lowest in A2 river water samples was 0.0198 mg / L. With detergent waste quality standards in rivers according to Government Regulation Number 82 of 2001 is 200 µg / L or 0.2 mg / L.
