Peatlands are one of the ecosystems that have a very high diversity of flora and fauna. One type of fauna that is very abundant in peatlands, namely soil insects. This type of research is a descriptive qualitative research conducted in February 2020 which is in the area of Limited Production Forest Revegetation (HPT) Pedamaran Kayu Agung, OKI Regency, South Sumatra. The process of sampling soil insects was carried out using a pitfall trap. The results of sampling were identified at the Laboratory of the Faculty of Science and Technology, UIN Raden Fatah Palembang. The aim of this study was to identify the diversity of soil insects. The benefit of this research is to provide information and recommend steps to monitor the presence of soil insects as bioindicators of soil fertility. so that the post-fire land reclamation process is in line with the objectives of the BRG (Gambut Restoration Agency). The identification results obtained in this study were 5 species totaling 97 individuals. on plot 1 Crickets (Grillidae Sp), Fire Ants (Solenopsis Sp), Small Black Ants (Lasius Fuliginosus). Plot 2 Black Ants (Lasius Fuliginosus), Fire Ants (Solenopsis Sp), Spiders (Araneus diadematus). Plot of 3 Black Ants (Lasius Fuliginosus), Fire Ants (Solenopsis Sp), Crickets (Grillidae Sp), Oriental Cockroaches (Blatta orientalis. Results of data analysis on diversity (H ') in revegetated peatland areas is low diversity with H' = 0,98 This is because the research location only takes 1 hectare out of 50 hectares. Another factor is also because the research was conducted in the rainy season.
