Food contamination caused by various types of microbes can occur at any time, one of which is through eating utensils used. According to the RI Ministry of Health Regulation No. 1096 / MenKes / Per / VI / 2011 that there is no bacteria in the tableware of more than 0 colonies / cm2. Based on this, an effort is needed to clean eating utensils from microbial contamination, one of which is by washing utensils using soap. Transparent bath soap with VCO is one of the soap innovations that make soap more attractive and has antimicrobial power. So researchers are interested in testing whether the soap can also be used to clean cutlery. In this study the sample was taken from X canteen, which consisted of plates, spoons and glasses in Palembang's UIN Raden Fatah canteen. The method used is the experimental method and the data obtained is in the form of germ numbers. Based on observations showed that there was a decrease in the number of germs in the sample pring, spoon, and glass respectively with a percentage of 99.66%, 99.02%, 93.72. This shows that the use of transparent soap has the ability to reduce the number of germs on eating utensils and the high number of germs in the eating utensils used at the X shop in Palembang's UIN Raden Fatah canteen
