The number of fish species in Indonesia has decreased, this happened due to overfishing and habitat damage. There is no fish diversity data on the Lakitan Dam, so research is needed. The purpose of this study was to determine the diversity of fish in the Lakitan Dam. The study was conducted from February to September 2018. The research took place at Lakitan Dam, Musi Rawas Regency, South Sumatra Province. Fish are caught using scatter and scoop-net. The fish caught were identified and analyzed for diversity index, evenness index and dominance index. 18 species of fish were caught during the study and belonged to 6 families and 5 orders. Diversity index of 2.64. Evenness index of 0.91. Dominance index is 0.09. The diversity of fish in the Lakitan Dam is in the medium category. The fish community in the Lakitan Dam is stable and there is no domination.
