Deteksi Bakteri Coliform Pada Makanan Dan Minuman Food Court Uin Raden Fatah

Coliform bacteria can contaminate food and beverages that can produce poisoning and can cause human digestive disorders. Foods and beverages that are susceptible to bacterial contamination are simple and traditional foods. Almost all food and drinks in the food court at UIN Raden Fatah Palembang are traditionally processed. The purpose of this study was to determine E.coli and Salmonella sp colony bacterial species in food and beverages at the food court of UIN Raden Fatah Palembang. The study was conducted in October 2018 at the Biology Laboratory of the Faculty of Science and Technology, Raden Fatah Palembang. This research is descriptive, the data is tabulated by presenting tables. The results showed that the sample of drinks used was not the same as MPN per 10 ml of coliform bacteria was 1100 per 100 ml. and food court food Palembang UIN Raden Fatah was not contaminated by coliform bacteria of E.coli and Shalmonella sp species where all inhibiting samples were negative, which was indicated by no colonies on EMBA and SSA
