Isolasi Jamur Dekolorisasi Zat Warna Direct Blue 86

Direct blue 86 dye is one of the dyes used in the dyeinig process of traditional palembang fabrics, namely jumputan. The use of synthetic dyes will have a negative impact on the environtment so that appropriate countermeasures are needed, one of which is biologically using wood rot fungi. This fungus has an enzyme system capable of decolorizing dyes. This study aims to isolate fungi that can decolorize direct blue dye 86. The result obtained 9 isolates that can decolorize direct blue 86 dye, namely 3 isolates from Punti Kayu Nature Park and 6 isolates from Siguntang Hill Tourism Park. The nine isolates had the highes, moderate to lowest decolorization abilities as follows: BS 1, BS 5 and BS 7 in the high category, PK 2 and PK 4 in the medium category, BS 2, PK 3 and BS 9 in the low category and BS 3 in the lowest category.
