Pengaruh Tingkat Pemberian ZPT Giberelin (GA3) terhadap Pertumbuhan Tanaman Sawi (Brassica juncea L.) secara Hidroponik pada Sumbu Wick System

Gibberellin (GA3) plays a role in influencing plant physiological processes. Spraying gibberellin (GA3) can promote plant growth, namely stem extension, increased leaf size, and stimulate enzyme production (amylase). Mustard greens contain vitamin A, vitamin B, and nutrients that are important for health.Mustard belongs to the vegetables which leaves are edible and is very popular with the community, so it is necessary to make efforts to increase the mustard production. This study aims to determine the effect of gibberellin (GA3) on growing the mustard greens hydroponically using the wick system. This study used a completely randomized design with 5 treatments and 5 repetitions.The concentration and control of gibberellin (GA3) used were 20 ppm, 40 ppm, 60 ppm and 80 ppm. The results of this study indicated that gibberellin (GA3) significantly affected the parameters of stem height and leaf area, while gibberellin (GA3) had no significant effect on the parameters of leaf number, fresh weight and dry weight of mustard greens (Brassica juncea L). The growth of mustard greens (Brassica juncea L) using the wick system showed the maximum results in the application of gibberellin (GA3) with a concentration of 80 ppm with an average forrespectively parameter 47.2 cm in stem height and 527.28 cm2in leaf area.Gibberellin (GA3) had a significant effect on the parameters of stem height and leaf area, while the parameters of the number of leaves, fresh weight and dry weight of mustard plants had no significant effect.The growth of mustard greens (Brassica juncea L) showed the maximum yield at 80 ppm.
