Kandungan Logam Pb dan Cd pada Sungai di Kabupaten Musi Banyuasin dengan Spektrofotometer Serapan Atom

Household waste is a type of solid waste and is considered to have no economic value anymore. One of the places that are prone to contamination of household waste is the river. River pollution can trigger an increase in heavy metal content in the river. This study aims to determine the content of heavy metals (Pb and Cd) in rivers in Musi Banyuasin Regency. Quantitative testing of heavy metal content uses an instrument, namely an atomic absorption spectrophotometer (AAS). The heavy metal content obtained was compared with the quality standard set by Governor Regulation number 16 of 2005. The results of the analysis showed that the metal content of Pb at an atomic absorption of 283.3 nm was < 0.0879 ppm and Cd metal at an atomic absorption of 228.8 nm was equal to < 0.0128 ppm. So with the quantitative heavy metal content, the value is below the predetermined quality standard threshold.
