Trichoderma sp. fungi is found in almost all types of soil and is one type of fungi that can be used as a biological agent controlling pathogens and plant growth stimulator. Trichoderma sp. for controlling pathogenic fungi is carried out by isolating it directly from the field and then cultured in culture media, the media commonly used for the growth of Trichoderma sp. in the laboratory are synthetic media such as PDA media and SDA media. The standard media that are often used are expensive, so it is necessary to look for cheap alternative media. The purpose of this study was to test the effectiveness of several media for the propagation of Trichoderma sp.. and to determine the density of sp.ores or conidia of various growth media for Trichoderma sp.. propagation. This research was carried out at the UPTD Laboratory of the Plant Protection Center of South Sumatra. The isolates were obtained from the collection of the UPTD BPTP laboratory which were then purified in PDA media and propagated on rice, corn, bran and pellet media. The results showed that the average time needed for Trichoderma sp. mushrooms to start growing on each medium was 2 days after incubation. while the average sp.ore density of each medium was in rice media the sp.ore density was 28,56 × 10⁸, corn medium 23.62 × 10⁸, pellet media 17.37 × 10⁸ and bran media 41,125 × 10⁸. From the data obtained, it can be concluded that the media that has the lowest sp.ore density is in the media while the highest is in the bran media so that the bran media can be used as an alternative media for the propagation of Trichoderma sp. because the price is relatively cheap and easy to obtain. Meanwhile, the highest biomass was in rice media and the lowest was in bran media. From the data obtained, it can be concluded that the media with the lowest spore density was in pellet media, while the highest was in bran media so that bran media could be used as an alternative media for the propagation of Trichoderma sp. because the price is relatively cheap and easy to get
