Sistem Informasi Buku Tamu Berbasis Web Menggunakan Metode Waterfall Pada PTPN7 Unit Betung

PT Perkebunan Nusantara VII Unit Betung, or commonly abbreviated as PTPN7 Unit Betung, is a subsidiary of PTPN III which is engaged in oil palm plantations. Based on observations made by the author for approximately 40 working days at PTPN VII Betung Unit, there is one problem, namely the process of recording the Guest Book is still done manually using the guest book agenda. So, after knowing these problems, the authors designed an information system to be more efficient in data search time and also minimize data loss. In this study, the author uses the Waterfall method for a systematic and sequential software development model. The author has gone through the stages of observation and interviews, designing designs, testing and checking program functionality, integrating the system as a whole and re-testing the software that has been made. The system is designed using the PHP programming language with My Sql database and using Context Diagrams (CD), Data Flow Diagrams (DFD), Entity Relationship Diagrams (ERD), visual basic. The resulting output is a web-based guest book information system that can help companies/admins in recapitulating guest data that comes to PTPN7 so as to minimize time in searching data and save on book/paper usage. And this research the author tries to make a "Guest Book Information System Using the Waterfall Method at PTPN7 Unit Betung.
