Analisa Kadar Ammonia (NH3) dari Limbah Cair Industri Rumah Sakit Secara Fenat Menggunakan Spektrofotometer Uv-Vis

Ammonia is a nitrogen compound that is easily soluble in water and is alkaline so that it will form ammonium hydroxide (NH4OH) which is toxic and had the potential to pollute the environment. Ammonia (NH3) is usually found in industrial liquid wastes such as hospital industrial activity waste. The purpose of this research is to know ammonia levels in the wastewater of a hospital used Spectrophotometry Uv-Vis. From the results of this study, ammonia levels were obtained in 2 hospital liquid waste samples, namely sample 1 and sample 2 respectively were 0.005 mg / L and 0.008 mg / L. These results showed that ammonia levels in the hospital liquid waste tested had not exceeded the quality standards set in Governor Regulation Sumatera Selatan No. 8 of 2012, namely 0.1 mg / L.
