Analisis Kandungan Logam Fe pada Air Sungai di Kabupaten Musi Banyuasin dengan Spektrofotometer Serapan Atom (SSA)

Polluted environment is a problem faced in the World. Decrease in environmental quality due to the entry of pollutant substances into the environment. One of the environment that is easily polluted is the river, river pollution is usually caused by the many activities carried out around the environment such as garbage disposal and industrial and domestic waste that can trigger an increase heavy metal waste. This study aims to determine the content of heavy metals (Fe) in Musi Banyuasin river Regency. Quantitative testing of heavy metal content uses an instrument, namely Atomic Absorption Spectrophotometer (AAS). The heavy metal content obtained was compared with the quality standard stipulated by Governor Regulation No. 16 of 2005. The results of the analysis showed the metal content of Fe with atomic absorption of 248.3 nm in sample A 1.0762 mg/L sample B 1.2211 mg/L and sample C 0.9129 mg/L. So it can be said that the metal content of Fe exceeds the river quality standard that has been determined because it ia caused by the presence of poluttant.
