Analisis Kadar Logam Kromium (Cr) pada Limbah Penyablonan di Konveksi Sakinah Palembang

Chromium metal is a heavy metal that is harmful to the environment which will accumulate in the waters. Sources of chromium metal in the waters can come from textile industrial waste. This study aims to determine the total metal content of chromium (Cr) in the screen printing wastewater in the sakinah convection of Palembang. The sample analysis stage was carried out by the Palembang City Environment Service. The method used is Atomic Absorption Spectrophotometry (AAS) at a wavelength of 357.9 nm. The results showed that the chromium metal content in the screen printing waste was 0.190 mg/L. This has met the standards of the Regulation of the Minister of the Environment of the Republic of Indonesia Number 5 of 2014 the maximum level of chromium metal allowed for the textile industry is 1 mg/L.
