Analisa Kadar Amonia (Nh3) Pada Air Sungai 3 Ilir Dengan Metode Salicylate Test Kit

3 Ilir River is one of the rivers in the city of Palembang, this river is vulnerable to pollution due to industrial waste being dumped into the river. One of the parameters of water pollution is ammonia (NH3). The presence of ammonia in water that exceeds the threshold will be very dangerous for aquatic organisms and humans. The purpose of this analysis is to determine the content of ammonia compounds (NH3) contained in 3 Ilir river water. The analysis was carried out using a Hach DR 900 spectrophotometer (portable colorimeter) with the salicylate test kit method. The results of the measurement of ammonia levels in 3 Ilir river water were 0.41 ppm, 0.25 ppm, 0.14 ppm, and 0.12 ppm. The results of the data obtained do not exceed the threshold, this is in accordance with the standard analysis PP. 82 of 2001 and Per.Gub. 16 of 2006 which states that the maximum limit for ammonia levels in river water is 0.5 ppm.
