Pemanfaatan Air Kelapa (cocos nucifera l.) untuk Meningkatkan Pertumbuhan Akar Stek Jeruk Nipis (Citrus aurantifolia)

Cuttings are a method of plant propagation by using the vegetative part of the plant that is separated from the parent when planted in favorable conditions will develop into plants that are able to grow well. In the seedling phase with the cutting method, the factors that affect the success rate are growth hormones that can induce root and shoot growth. This study aims to determine the effect of giving coconut water on root growth, number of leaves and plant height on lime cuttings. The research method used was a completely randomized design (CRD) with 4 treatments with 6 repetitions and analyzed using ANOVA. The results showed that giving coconut water had no significant effect on root length, number of roots, number of leaves and plant height. Root induction on lime shoot cuttings using coconut water by soaking for 45 minutes with doses of 15 ml, 30 ml, 45 ml, and aquades as a control showed plant responses in the form of 100% survival percentage, root length, number of roots, number of leaves and plant height.
