Penentuan Spesies Bakteri Asam Laktat (BAL) Melalui Analisis Sekuen Gen 16S rRNA dan Pendekatan Bioinformatika

This study was aimed to determine the species of Lactic Acid Bacteria (LAB) through by sequence analysis and bioinformatics approach. DNA of LAB isolated by biogas sludge was sequenced at the location of gene 16S rRNA. Data sequence of LAB isolate processed to Basic Local Alignment Search Tool (BLAST) feature which can be accessed at  National Center Biotechnology Information (NCBI) cite to compare the similiarity of the query and the database sequence. BLAST file are used to constructing the phylogenetic tree to observed the relationship between the query and the database sequence using Molucular Evolutionary Genetics Analysis Version 6.0 (MEGA6) software. Based on the research showed that can be concluded that the LAB isolate identified as Lactobacillus fermentum.
