Analisis Kadar Fe dan Pb pada Sumber Mata Air di Pulau Moa, Maluku Barat Daya

Springs are an effort to improve the quality of clean water in Indonesia. Springs generally come from groundwater, surface water, and rainwater. Groundwater is one of the community's alternatives to fulfilling the quality of life, such as drinking, bathing, washing, and cooking. The mineral content of groundwater is the main aspect that needs attention to meet the daily needs of the community. This research aims to determine the levels of Fe and Pb in springs on Moa Island, Southwest Maluku. Water quality testing was carried out quantitatively using an atomic absorption spectrophotometer (AAS). The results of the analysis of heavy metal content using a spectrophotometer showed that the data contained iron (Fe) of 0.0 mg/l and lead (Pb) of 0.0 mg/l. The results of the analysis of the content of the heavy metals Pb and Fe are compared with the quality standards, namely Permenkes No. 32 of 2017. The standards for clean water quality regulated in regulations indicate a safe limit for iron (Fe) content of 1 mg/l and lead (Pb) of 0.05 mg/l, so that the content of Fe and Pb metals does not exceed the clean water quality standards that have been determined and are suitable for consumption.
