Bajakah wood (Spatholobus littoralis Hassk.) is a plant used by Dayak tribes in South Arut and Kumai sub-districts as a source of medicine. Many studies have examined the utilization of these plants by local Dayak tribes. However, not all sub-districts have not been identified regarding the use of these plants, especially in South Arut and Kumai sub-districts which have a large forest area coverage among other sub-districts in Central Kalimantan. Therefore, research is needed that can reveal the use of Bajakah Wood in the two sub-districts. information about the use of these plants can be said to be quite minimal or even not found, therefore, in conducting this study using a sampling method with the snowball sampling method which produces specific and targeted data. From this method obtained information that Bajakah wood can treat diabetes, stroke, cysts, lymph nodes, ambient, and stomach acid, which is a new finding based on the results of interviews. These findings have great potential for its use as herbal medicine based on the Bajakah Wood plant in the future.
