The application of social media in learning process is one of an effort of increasing studying motivation and at the end it can increasing the study quality result of students. persentation of the application social media in student has two sides that effect each other, positive side and negative side, positive side that happened are easily to making friends, social media can be used as promotion media, as a media to communicate with friends, can be used as an alternative to searching information such as an update news, technology education and also it can be adding more friends between student.Except of positive side, there is also negative side that happened, especially if students are too much access social media, such as , less of social activity with enviroment, fake accounts, negative behavior and spreading virus. the purpose of this research is to see how much student respond for social media as learning media in 2013 curicculum, especially for high school student. this research concerned to social media, which is known as whatsapp to know how much student respond as learning media. this research propose 5 variables, are perceived ese of use, perceived usefulness, attitude toward using, behavioral intention to use, and actual system use. Research data is collected by 100 questionaires to respondent, lti igm senior high school student. the result of testing data using smartPLS 3 shows all variable very strong, and reliability test is all variable claimed reliable with alpha value croanbach > 0.60. based on testing, it shows there is positif significant effect between variable. based on the research shows that acceptance of application social media in learning case is social media can be accepted in student circle.
