Analisis Korelasi dan Regresi Jumlah Hotspot Terhadap Kelembaban Udara Relatif Rata-Rata Perbulan Periode 2015 – 2020 di Sumatera Selatan

This research discusses the number of hotspots per month in South Sumatra for the 2015-2020 period. The purpose of this research is to study the regression analysis of the number of hotspots to the average relative humidity (RH) per month in South Sumatra. This study uses correlation and regression methods to the hostpot point with the average relative humidity per month, then the data that has been taken is broken down using Microsoft Excel. The results obtained from this study are to determine whether there is a relationship between relative humidity and the number of hotspots per month. The length of the data used is 5 years 6 months, starting from January 2015 to June 2020. Data on the number of hostpots comes from BMKG. Relative humidity parameters are obtained from the results of calculations using the values from the readings of the dry ball and wet bulb thermometers in the cage of the Sultan Mahmud Badaruddin II Meteorological Station in Palembang. Meanwhile, data on the number of hotspots comes from the LAPAN Fire Hotspot website.
