Aplikasi Pelayanan Administrasi dan Informasi Kecamatan Berbasis Web pada Kecamatan Buay Pemuka Bangsa Raja

Buay Pemuka Bangsa Raja sub-district is part of the East OKU Regency, South Sumatra Province. In the era of advances in information technology, BP Bangsa Raja Subdistrict, it is still difficult to provide administrative correspondence services that are still done manually. This has an impact on less than optimal service to the population. The use of word processing applications such as Microsoft office for writing correspondence has obvious weaknesses, such as reliance on local village officials / village officials, resulting in the format of existing letters changing and also prone to writing errors and recording data letters that have been made. On the other hand, in general the IT capacity of village officials is below the average compared to other administrative personnel, so the use of special applications for correspondence administration services is needed. With this web-based administration and information service application, it is hoped that it can solve the problems that are being faced by the District in implementing better administrative services. Another benefit is that residents can get reliable information about the District. The system development methodology uses the waterfall model by carrying out 5 stages, namely the needs analysis stage, the system design stage, the coding stage, the testing phase and the implementation and maintenance stage. Making applications using the programming language HTML, PHP, MySQL database and the CodeIgniter framework. The result of the practical work that has been done is to produce a website-based application as a medium for disseminating information and administrative services in BP Bangsa Raja District.
