Pengaruh Pemberian Ekoenzim Pada Air Baku Dengan Parameter Turbidity

Turbidity is an important quality indicator in drinking water. Turbidity is due to the presence of impurities. Efforts are made to reduce turbidity in water by adding coagulants that serve as binders of manure. Aluminum sulfate is used as a coagulant by drinking water treatment companies. Aluminum sulfate leaves residues in drinking water that can trigger neurological disorders, so an alternative is needed, it is eco-enzymes. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the addition of eco-enzymes on the raw water of the form river with turbidity parameters. The study was conducted using a turbidity meter type Hach 200iq. The study was conducted for 10 days with the measurement of turbidity levels once every 2 days. The results of testing turbidity levels on the last day obtained samples of 20 ppm and 40 ppm turbidity levels, namely 3.05 NTU and 2.59 NTU. These results meet the requirements for drinking water quality standards in accordance with Permenkes No.492 / Menkes / Per / IV / 2010 concerning Drinking Water Quality Requirements physical parameters, it is 5 NTU maximum allowable limit
