Keanekaragaman Jenis Gulma Berdasarkan Teknik Pengelolaan pada Kebun Karet Desa Kambitin Kabupaten Tabalong

Cultivated plants such as rubber are always closely related to the presence of weeds which can cause rubber losses due to competition. This study aims to describe weed species found under rubber stands and to determine the Importance Value Index (INP) and weed species diversity values in rubber plantations. The research was conducted from May to June 2023 in Kambitin Village, Tabalong Regency. The purposive sampling method was carried out on a representative basis with 15 plots of 1x1 m2 in manual management techniques and 15 plots of 1x1 m2 in chemical management techniques. The results of the study found 13 weed species using manual techniques and 10 weed species using chemical techniques with the highest (INP) in Melastoma malabathricum species (42.57%) and Leersia oryzoides species (49.18%). Species diversity was 2.13 in manual management techniques while 2.02 in chemical management techniques, so it can be concluded that weed species diversity in both rubber plantations is in the medium category with moderate distribution and moderate community stability
