The General Election Commission (KPU) is a state institution that organizes general elections (elections) in Indonesia, which include general elections for members of the DPR, DPD, DPRD, presidential and vice presidential elections, as well as elections for regional heads and deputy regional heads in provinces/regencies/provinces/districts. city (uu 15/2011) . kpu south sumatra is engaged in government. So far, in processing inventory data, we still use a simple but computerized system, namely using MS.Excel software, so that when calculating inventory, there are obstacles in the occurrence of errors in calculating the stock of goods in the warehouse. The method used by the author in this research is literature study by reading journals and data from the internet and field studies by taking data directly to the KPU office of South Sumatra Province. The results of this study are to produce an inventory information system that makes it easier for warehouse and purchasing departments to provide reports to management and help minimize stock calculation error rates. In the inventory system the author uses DFD diagrams, ERD, reports using Microsoft Visual Studio code and MySQL programming for data processing. After the researchers created an inventory information system, the authors hope that it can facilitate the work of the parties involved.
