Dashboard Pencapaian Kinerja PT. KAI (Persero) Divre III Palembang Menggunakan Google Data Studio

In an era of ever-advancing technological developments, the transportation industry and railroad companies are facing a huge impact. Technological developments provide opportunities for innovative solutions that change traditional operations to be more efficient. PT. Kereta Api Indonesia (Persero) Division III Palembang (PT KAI Drive III Palembang) is an important part of a state company that plays a role in providing rail transportation services in its territory. In an effort to remain competitive, the company needs to improve its service quality and operational efficiency. Performance achievement is the key in measuring the achievement of business goals and taking corrective actions. However, there is no Key Performance Indicator (KPI) dashboard that is able to measure the performance of passenger transportation services which cover various aspects such as the number of trains, number of passengers, income, and number of employees. Data is reported manually via Microsoft Excel, which is inefficient due to the variety of data sources and formats. The author designed a performance achievement dashboard with Google Data Studio to facilitate data processing and visualization. With this tool, companies can design dashboards that visualize data with interactive graphs, charts, and dashboards. This will assist management in aligning performance developments, identifying differences between actual achievements and plans, and taking corrective actions. Through the application of appropriate technology and data visualization, the dashboard is expected to provide a better solution in disseminating the performance of PT KAI Drive III Palembang and supporting informed decision making.
